In the past century, the exponential growth in technology has resulted in a similar escalation of new energies to which we are exposed. These invisible energies include toxic radiation from EMFs (electromagnetic fields), WIFI, and Smart Meters.
Electrosensitivity (ES) is one of the growing crises of our times. While an increasing number of people are reporting symptoms that seem to be related to sources of EMR (electromagnetic radiation), it must be said that there are a significant number of corporations, government agencies, and lobbying groups who refute such claims, dismissing them as psychological issues of the individual and in fact suggesting that ES is even a hoax without scientific basis. Certainly the manufacturers and providers of the sources of EMR will continue to dismiss any significant negative impact from their technology, including electrical utility providers or the manufacturers of WIFI routers, for example, as it would result in tremendous cost and liability for their companies and industry. It is far less costly to refute and dismiss such claims through creating studies and promoting propaganda, than to risk either getting rid of entire product lines, changing their products to protect the consumer, or closing their companies, all of which are very costly propositions that big corporations do not want to undertake.
An example of the staggering increase of electromagnetic fields and exposure to them is in the automobile. Examples of electric motors in a vehicle include window lift, seat, sunroof, HVAC, window wiper (front and back), door lock, mirror, washer, engine cooling, anti-lock brake systems, fuel-pump, cruise control, electric steering, throttle control, starters, alternators…and the list goes on.
The number of electric motors and wire harnesses that distribute electricity for performance-related motors (e.g., anti-lock brakes, fuel pump, cruise control, electric steering, radiator and condenser, throttle control, exhaust gas circulation) has nearly TRIPLED from 4.5 million units in 2005 to 12.7 million units in 2012. Click here to read more. In fact, the global market for electric motors overall (vehicle and non-vehicle, including household appliances) has grown at a CAGR (compounded annual growth rate) of 6.3% from 2013 to 2019, where the total electric motors market is expect to reach a value of over $120 billion by 2019. (Source). This excludes additional radiation produced by the massive wire harnesses needed to distribute that electric current within each respective system, as well as the ancillary systems, such to control the electricity, such as control systems, circuit breakers, and so forth. Indeed, we live in an electric world that is a far cry from even what our grandparents experienced.
The new marketing approach seems that the various industries within the electrical empire is now part of the answer to global climate change, making the problem of electrical exposure far more palatable while diverting attention from the dangers of EMR. Electric vehicles are now the 'savior' to civilization, rather than the demon.
It must also be said that the refutation of electrosensitivity as being a real threat to human health is occurring especially in the United States, where capitalism and profits seem to be more important than the health and well-being of citizens. Hundreds of large corporations involved in producing electromagnetic fields are spending BILLIONS of dollars in lobbying groups to pressure Congress to keep laws from being passed that are risks to their sales and profits.
On the other hand, other nations around the world are taking a more serious approach in their examination of the evidence for electrosensitivity and are passing laws with significantly higher restrictions.
No reasonable scientist can refute the negative impact of an electrical current on the body, starting at the cellular level. The question is how much radiation exposure results in a problem, and how close does a person need to be to the source or radiating field in order to be adversely affected. Scientists have not begun to seriously measure the full impact on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. Read more here.
There are hundreds of university studies that show the negative effects of even low levels of electromagnetic radiation on human biology. A study by James E. Trosko, a professor of pediatrics and human development at Michigan State University, was published in October 2000 October issue of Environmental Health Perspectives, the journal of the National Institute of Environmental Health Science, demonstrating the adverse effects of electromagnetic fields. The research at Michigan State University showed that electromagnetic fields, similar to those found in overhead power lines, can have a biological effect on human cells, an effect that could contribute to the complex cellular process that leads to cancer. The research by Dr. Amir Raz, assistant professor of clinical neuroscience at Columbia University, showed certain frequencies of electromagnetic waves or radiation interfere with brain function and can damage the structure and function of the nervous system.. The studies also demonstrated that microwave frequencies below 3,000 megahertz can penetrate the outer layers of the skin, be absorbed in the underlying tissues, and result in all of the known biological effects of heating, including burns, cataracts, and possibly death. Keep in mind that it is human nature to more easily dismiss problems that we cannot see. But this is precisely one of the issues with technology, in that it is producing new forms of toxic energy that is relatively invisible at an exponential rate, such as chemicals in food, radioactive materials, or electromagnetic fields. Micro-technology can kill us, as Madame Curie discovered the hard way in her premature death caused by exposure to radioactive isotopes.
One researcher and physician, Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, has conducted research with his patients on the effects of electromagnetic radiation on human health. He has witnessed a correlation between exposure to EMF radiation and a growing epidemic of new diseases, such as autism, ADD, and ADHD, as well as headaches, insomnia, and nervousness, for example. In fact, he calls EMFs and SMART Meters the "great crisis of our time." Click here to see the video.
Indeed, the sources of electromagnetic radiation are increasing at an exponential rate over the past 100 years and, in particular, in the past quarter century with the proliferation of these new technologies:
- The electric wire
- Radio waves
- Radioactive energy caused from nuclear sources
- Microwave frequencies
- WIFI and Bluetooth technology, which use microwave frequencies
- SMART Meters
The problem is that our biology has not yet evolved to deal with these toxic sources and return into balance before receiving further exposure. When the human body cannot repair itself quickly enough, disease sets in, and the symptoms of disease show up.
This may well explain the new onslaught of diseases where the scientific and health communities have not yet agreed upon its cause, such as autism, new forms of cancer, ADD/ADHD, and other illnesses. Today, over 50% of Americans have at least one chronic illness.
